How can I book a party?
First, fill out the contact form. We'll get back to you within 48 hours to schedule an introduction call. During our call, we'll ask questions to learn more about your child's birthday party dreams, review our packages and discuss any additional add-on's that will make their day even more special, and answer any questions that you may have. We will book a date and then discuss payment options.
How do payments work?
We offer Venmo, Zelle, and cash as payment methods. At the time of booking, we require a nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the total invoice.
How far do you travel?
We are happy to travel to most locations within and around the Cedar Rapids area. Any distance exceeding 30 miles from the performer's starting point will be charged $0.72 per mile.
How many children can attend?
For birthday parties, we love a full kingdom, but we want to make sure everyone can participate in the activities. We request a count of all attendees within 10 days of the party to ensure enough materials. A party size over 10 will be a charge of $10 per additional child.
Can boys attend?
Yes! We welcome all children to join in on the royal celebration!
What do I need to provide?
Once Upon A Lily Pad is not a party-planning business. We provide the magic! This includes entertainment, activities, and the materials listed for your selected package. You coordinate invitations and RSVPs, and provide the venue, decorations, and party oversight.
